Margaret Brooks
Margaret is passionate about elevating the conscious practice of leadership by helping to develop leaders with the capacity to drive results and effectively navigate an increasingly complex business landscape.
The core of her work centers on driving transformational outcomes. Margaret partners with her clients to dig deeper to get to the heart of what’s in their way, so they can create a clear path forward. She is trusted for her ability to help her clients create results, which she brings about through careful listening, compassionate directness and an eye on encouraging actionable efforts that lead to positive outcomes. Clients describe her coaching style as flexible and pragmatic with a focus on inner growth.
Margaret’s client-centered approach is informed by 30 years in leadership roles in top organizations (18 years at McKinsey & Company and a collective 12 years at Procter & Gamble, Eli Lilly & Company and Ethcentric - Start-Up).
As an executive coach, She has had the privilege of partnering with leaders at McKinsey, Google, SAIC, Invesco, UPS, Clorox, Habitat, Jobs For The Future, Bechtel Foundation among other organizations ranging in size from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Margaret graduated salutatorian from Howard University where she was the 1990 student commencement speaker. In addition, she completed Georgetown University’s rigorous Leadership Transformation Coaching program.
Margaret is a board member for ProInspire. The organization’s mission is to provide services and tools for developing the leaders of organizations addressing the world’s greatest challenges.
On the weekends, Margaret spends time studying mindfulness approaches and teaching Yin Yoga.
